going to be hard on gas, but that vortec gm motor is in a lot of trucks, and is good and strong, the wieght is going to make it a great 4×4 for just about anything, but a word of caution, if you get something that heavy stuck, you almost need another one to get it out, but aside from that, you should be blasting up hills in the front of the pack with your cadillac motor good luck

Assuming both have contact rating of 10 Amps AC and both need to be self latched through a third contact and coil of both is 12 VDC.The question is which one will be cheaper if just N/O contact are to be closed to power the load when they are activated by supplying 12 VDC to their coils. Even after forcing the door open I can’t keep it open. It just rolls back down. It is an Amarr door and Amarr had no suggestions at all!
Make sure the springs are not broken. If they are they need to be replaced and that is what is causing your problem. This sounds like the problem because of the amount of effort you needed to use to open the door, and because it would not stay open.

trailer light plug does have turn signals just brake.?
I have a 4 wire trailer light plug. White, brown,yellow and green. I put circuit tester on the plug and neither the yellow or green wire show any activity. I grounded it to white. When I hit the brakes it shows activity in the yellow and green. The cord runs into a panel in the back of the truck. It’s a 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe. So I really have no idea where to go from here. Any suggestions appreciated.
Try your circuit tester again with one turn signal on ar a time.
The one that blinks should be wired to the same side of the trailer’s turn signals, then do the other side the same way.
If your car doesn’t have the yellow turn signals that work independently of the brake lights, then the brake lights on the trailer should take care of themselves, because when the brakes are activated both turn signal wires will be “on” but without the blinking feature.
