going to be hard on gas, but that vortec gm motor is in a lot of trucks, and is good and strong, the wieght is going to make it a great 4×4 for just about anything, but a word of caution, if you get something that heavy stuck, you almost need another one to get it out, but aside from that, you should be blasting up hills in the front of the pack with your cadillac motor good luck
